Product Review: Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect First Serum

Image
Hi Everyone!

I'm back with another review on Skinfood's Black Sugar Perfect First Serum. I've heard many amazing things about Skinfood but I also know it's a pricier skin care brand. You get what you pay for right? Well that's what I wanted to find out, starting with this product. Though I haven't had much luck with serums and first essences so far, I really wanted to give this one a shot.

What does it do: A multi-functioning serum with black sugar extract that exfoliates, hydrates and soothes skin.

How much: Php 1750 for 120ml full size, based on Zalora's website. (link features -essential- version)

Instructions: Use as first step in skincare routine, similar to first essences.

Amount: 30ml deluxe sample size, 120 ml for full size

Skinfood's Black Sugar Perfect First Serum has a light and delicately sweet smell. Though it is called a serum, it's one of those "first step" skin care products and really is more similar to a first essence. It is …

Product Review: Etude House Honey Cera

Image
Hey Everyone!

I have another skincare sample review today; another line from Etude House.

In one of my other posts, I reviewed samples from their Pink Vital Water line which I did enjoy. For this post, I'll be talking about three products from their Honey Cera line: Essence, Priming Eye Serum and Eye Pack Cream.

What does it do: Contains Honey, Royal Jelly and Ceramide to plump, firm and nourish the skin.

How much:Essence (80 ml full size) - Php 1198

Priming Eye Serum (20ml full size) - Php 1098

Eye Pack Cream (28ml full size) - Php 1098

If I were to describe thise line n one word, I'd have to say: AMAZING. I loved how they all felt on my skin. My skin felt firm and moisturized after using and the products  were not sticky on the skin. The smell was also delightful; the products had a very soft honey-like smell. But really, it was one product that stood out to me in this line and made me think: "WOW". I'll get to that in a bit.

Product Review: Etude House Pink Vital Water

Image
Hi Everyone!

Remember how I bought a ton of samples and masks? Well, I've been trying some of them out! Today I'll talk about samples from Etude House's Pink Vital Water line; this includes their facial toner, serum and emulsion.

(Sorry for the photo, I opened the sachet before realizing I forgot to take a picture haha)

What does it do: "The vitality moisturizing care reduces fatigue and pink color vitality and moisturizing energy to skin."

How much:Facial Toner (180 ml full size) - Php 798

Serum (80ml full size) - Php 1048

Emulsion (180 full size) - Php 798

Instructions: Toner -> Serum -> Emulsion

The first thing I always notice about a new product is its smell. This skincare line has a subtle light floral scent that's perfect for those who don't like products with strong smells.

Skincare Haul: Face Masks (Innisfree, Tony Moly, Etude House, etc) and samples

Image
Hey Everyone,

I have another quick post on some face masks and samples I've hauled over the past few months. I have a little bit of a hoarding problem with face masks (as if you couldn't already tell), but I haven't bought some in a while so I thought I would buy a few new ones to try. Along that line of thought, I also got hold of some product samples too,  so I could try a few new products without buying the full sized product. I'll be posting reviews as well later on after I've tried the products.

Anyway, let's get started on this Skincare Haul!
