The Body Shop Haul~!

So I visited The Body Shop a few days ago since I was drawn to the sale (hihi). I was mostly there to see how much their summer body butters were (40% off btw) and I ended up buying a few more things. I really like going to The Body Shop during their sales because it's a great way to save money, considering their products are quite pricey and I don't frequent the place. I usually only go there for a few select products. So if I find that they're on sale... yay!

Anyway. Enough ramble. Here's what I picked up. Complete list and prices I got them for will be listed at the very bottom of the post :)

First, I got the Pomegranate Body Butter, which is part of their summer collection. It comes in a light pink color, similar to the Cranberry Body Butter, and smells really really sweet and fruity! I'll post more pictures and a review next time.

Next I got the Argan Oil & Orange Blossom Body Souffle from their Spa Wisdom Morocco line. This one came in a set of 5 big pac…

Review: Etude House Green Tea Nose Patch

What does it do: Cleanse and subdue oil while extracting pore residue and build up.

How much: Php 38 (around $1)

Instructions: Wet nose with water. Remove clear film from pack and fasten adhesive side to nose. Remove strip when dry.

I actually tried this product twice before reviewing it. I... am not sure if its because I'm misinterpreting the instructions or what, but it HARDLY works for me. It only takes off a few blackheads and whiteheads.

The first time I tried it, I followed the instructions word for word. It took off so little dirt it was hardly noticeable. The second time, I checked other reviews and I tried to follow their sequence (someone said to wet the strip again after putting it on.. I forgot whose blog I read this on I'm sorry!). But it still didn't work for me. It might be just my nose since it seems to work for a lot of other girls..

Review: Etude House I need you, Lemon Mask Sheet

What does it do:Brightens and clarifies skin tone.
How much: Php 58 (around $1)

Instructions: Prepare skin with toner before using (helps make skin absorb the essence better). Apply the mask to face and leave on for 20-30 minutes. Gently massage remaining essence into skin. Apply every 2-3 days for maximum effect.

So I bought this mask to try in my last haul and decided to try it out last Easter evening. When I opened and took out the mask, the smell immediately reminded me of a car freshener :/
I mean, I guess the car freshener I thought of was most probably a lemon scent too, but I just.. never liked that particular kind of lemon scent. It makes me dizzy... :(
The fit of the mask, again the nose area was too short and the bottom part was not fit for my long face.
As I was wearing the mask, it gave me such a cool soothing feeling on my skin! The smell still really bothered me until I took it off.
When I took it off, the effect was quite similar to the Ginseng and Pearl mask. I had bri…

Etude House Haul~!

I passed by Etude House last April 1 because I had to stock up on one of my favorite masks. However, I also decided to pick up a few more things! :))

So I picked up the I need you, pearl mask sheet and I also decided to get a I need you, lemon mask sheet just to try it. I also decided to take Essence mask Vitamin E for my mom since they say it's good for wrinkles.. I got the Miss Tangerine Follow Me Tint for my sister since she has very very fair skin, and I think tangerine is a good color for her.

Next I got the AC Clinic pink spot patch... for my boyfriend who seems to be having pimple problems. I only got one so he could try and see how it works.

I got the Proof 10 auto pencil no. 4 in grey. I don't have have any waterproof eyeliners so I thought I'd give this a shot. Plus, I don't have grey liner :)

I got the Anti-Radiation sticker as a freebie for spending at least 1k. :)

Reviews on some off these products to follow! :)

Prices are listed below:

Review: Etude House I Need You, Red Ginseng Mask Sheet

What does it do: Restores skin after being damaged by stress, pollution, debris and weather. Helps maintain firmness and smoothness.
How much: Php 58 (around $1)
Instructions: Prepare skin with toner before using (helps make skin absorb the essence better). Apply the mask to face and leave on for 15-20 minutes. Gently massage remaining essence into skin. Apply every 2-3 days for maximum effect.
This is actually the very first mask I tried from Etude House. I bought a lot of different masks to try actually, but I chose to use this first because the saleslady suggested it.
When I opened the pack, the first thing I noticed was the smell. It smelled like a vegetable! Most likely ginseng. It wasn't overwhelmingly bad, but it took some time for me to get used to it.
The fit of the mask wasn't perfect for me, the nose portion was too short and the bottom part of the mask is more suitable for people with a rounder chin. While wearing the mask I didn't feel anything spectacular... I …
